  3. Hi Mike

I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but as much as I want to like it – and I do like the interface when it works – it’s simply too slow. When I start it I get several warnings if I want to close the app, because it’s not responding, and the feed just stops working for several days, then suddenly it fetches a batch and then stops again.
Now I had to uninstall it, because I didn’t want the feed anymore, but even though I’ve uninstalled it, I still have the non-functional feed after reboot.
Apps not working is one thing, but that I can’t cleanly uninstall is not acceptable.

  4. Hi Thomas,

Sorry you’re having trouble with it, what exactly do you mean by still having a non-functional feed? Items that were already added to the feed will remain there unless cleared, but the StatusNet feed plugin will no longer be loaded at start-up after being uninstalled.

All StatusNet for MeeGo files are removed during uninstallation so the plugin doesn’t even exist on your phone at that point. Although you do need to restart your phone for it to be fully unloaded from the feed framework, it will stop actually updating the feed as soon as its been uninstalled.

    Cheers,
    Mike.

  5. If it is simply a matter of you wishing to remove old feed items just hold down on one of the StatusNet entries and a menu will pop up with the option to “Clear StatusNet”.
