PyFLTK Manual
Mike @ 11:54 pm

Seems I’ve been asked to try and write a manual for PyFLTK, the python FLTK bindings. Since this is likely to take a fair amount of time and not produce any pretty screenshots don’t expect too many posts for a while (unless I get distracted from it ;)). I might post the odd update on my progress though. I’m hoping to achieve a couple of pages each day. The current version can be viewed at http://junk.mikeasoft.com/pyfltkmanual.pdf.

  3. I would love to see this manual completed. I have an fltk tutorial here
    http://www3.telus.net/public/robark/
Please feel free to convert any of the examples into the pyfltk manual.
I think pyfltk is awesome! But, I really feel it needs more documentation. Version 1.1.1 comes with some docs but is still missing these essential chapters.

Chapter 5 – Drawing Things in pyFLTK
    Chapter 6 – Handling Events
Chapter 7 – Extending and Adding Widgets

    and

    Appendix A – Class Reference
    Appendix B – Function Reference
    Appendix C – Enumeration Reference

  5. Hi Marco,

Sorry, I don’t think I ever took this much further than the last PDF uploaded there, you’re welcome to use it as the basis for something more complete though (unfortunately I haven’t been able to track down the old latex source though, so you’d have to just copy straight from the PDF)

    Cheers,
    Mike.
